Sumeet Iyengar, Owner of Cope Management

This informal session answered our questions about the differences between agents and managers, and why some talent have both. It was a safe space to ask the hard questions related to our careers, so I’ve chosen not to give much detail here.

Sumeet acknowledged that relationships between you and your agent / you and your manager are mutual. Your agents and managers bring you opportunities, and they work for you—you don’t work for them. It’s a partnership.

I can personally say that Sumeet is responsive to emails, and very friendly. We were neighbors for the first night at dinner.
